View Full Version : 10S a123 with stock motor
Can someone tell me the gearing that would be needed to fly 10S a123 packs with the stock motor? I know you need a different ESC, but on a thread in RR, there is a video of someone flying 10s a123 with a stock 600 motor. Just not sure what gearing would be needed.

The 10 cell 123's wil be too much voltage for the 600l or 600xl motor.
There are other people testing 8 cell setups (this would be the same voltage). There's testing going on and the nue 910/1y and the neu 1512/1y are someof the picks being tested.
I'm also thinking along this line. I'm going to be getting some packs for my swift and hopefully i can get them to work in the t600. This is why i'm going with a 8cell lipo based power system. The power won't be as good as a lipo powered setup , but there cheap and my flying skills aren't in need of that much power. Nice to know that when i need more power i can pick up a lipo and go.
