Heli novice here, so please be patient if question seems to be remedial...
The Thunder Power instruction sheets have much to be desired for and I can't figure it out either.

Purchased a TREX 450SA with everything, including the Thunder Power 425 charger, Thunder Power 205V balancer, 1 Thunder power 3Cell battery which I am having a problem charging.

I have managed to solder on the Dean's connectors to the battery, and also the male Dean's connector on to the charger's "output" plugs.

When I attempt to charge the battery using the TP425 charger, I select 3CL (3 cells) and a charge rate of 2.0amps. I am using a Team Novak Npower power supply as the source from my RC car days, URL:
http://www.teamnovak.com/products/p...wer/N-Power.htm which I believe is compatible with the Thunder Power charger.

However upon selecting "Start" on the charger, after about 4-5 minutes, the charger alternatively blinks the "Full" and "Charge" LED lights quickly (blue and yellow) and makes continuous and fast low and high beeps until I hit "stop" on the charger. I quickly disconnect everything and tried it again 4 times, same thing everytime. I know the battery is low on power, for I ran it in the heli for about 5 minutes prior.

The TP205V balancer states that the battery is normal when connecting the battery's 4pin in. "3CL" and status light is "yellow" for about 5 seconds then goes out.

- Does anyone have step by step instructions on how to go about using the charger and balancer?
- Does the balancer need to be plugged into the battery WHILE it is charging?
- What is the point of the balancer if it just tells me when it is okay to charge the battery? I can tell just by how the heli is running out of power.

Thanks for anyones input
