OUCH! Sorry to hear that Flyanything. Luckily I haven't wrecked mine yet (although I've been really close a few times). Hopefully this won't be a typical wreck. I have tons of spare parts for my Rexes but haven't priced the mini titan parts yet. I guess I need to be more careful with it..... nah

I busted my Radix blades the 2nd time out on my Rex..... but they flew really nice until then :arggg:

Thanks !

I had to file mine to get the HS-65's to fit.

I absolutley love mine

Set up
Medusa 28 32 2400
SAB blades
HS 65s
9650 tail/401
Thunder Power ESC.

Everything else is BONE stock and WOW im in love. Tracking is off and on, but when the metal comes, I wll come  Gotta re pitch it to see what Im getting for neg, cause it seems like it dont have the pop like the positive pitch does.

Its down for at least a week, my pinion slid up right up against the motor, and I couldnt slide it back down, so had to dremel it off, and well i WILL NOT ACCEPT less than 2800HS. Ive treid an 11 with an AON motor on my trex, it 3Ded, USING FULL PITCH

I flew mine Friday night in the Sleep Inn parking lot up at the Birmingham event. It was a new head and tail so things were... interesting to say the least. What a great event.

I'm just waiting for some spare parts at the LHS so I can get a little more daring with mine. I picked up a 401 for it today, but I still don't see myself pushing it until spare parts are available to fix it.

I did have some concerns about heat from the stock motor and lipos. Seemed much higher than I was used to on a REX, especially since I wasn't doing anything more than figure 8s in a parking lot with the Titan. I changed the blades yesterday to a set of carbons and my temps came down a lot. It was pretty cold outside though (40s), so I'll have to wait for better weather and some daylight before I judge this heli too much.

I played around with throttle curves a lot last night too. With a really low throttle curve (0,40,50,60,70,80,95) I only used 1200mah in 6:30 and it was very stable for such a low headspeed. Should be a very nice, stable platform for people just starting out who are intimidated by high headspeed.

Nice to know :glasses2: Couple of questions:
- what pitch curve numbers (in relation to the above throttle curve?
- Are you using the 13 or 15T pinion ?

Thank you in advance for answering :D

I was using a -3 to +12 curve in normal mode with the 13 tooth pinion. In my radio it is 37,43,50,75,100.

I recently switched out the motor/esc to the new Align XL motor with a 13 tooth pinion and 6 volt BEC. The performance is great, but unfortunately due to tracking issues I can only run a flat 85% curve or it goes in and out of track every flip. Running a low throttle curve in normal mode with this motor has helped keep my temps down. Last night my battery was only 100 and the motor was 110 on the windings. A 4 min flight only used 940 mah (new battery, so I am running short flights to break it in). I can't wait to get the tracking problems fixed so I can run a higher idle up curve. When I first installed the motor I was running 100,97,95,97,100 (same curve from my Rex with an XL motor) and the performance was great, this heli was ballistic.... but it went so far out of track at some points I thought for sure it was going to break a blade. With the lower throttle curve, It goes in and out of track but not nearly as much.
