I just installed the Eagle Tree Systems Micropower E-logger (http://www.eagletreesystems.com/MicroPower/micro.htm) on my Razor. I got the optional temperature probe. Right now I have the probe on the ESC because that was the only thing it would reach. I can get an extension but, I am wondering where the most usefull temp info will come from.

I think the batteries would be best but, moving the sensor every time I change the batteries will be a problem.

A good thing to monitor is your motor temps.

Too high, and the magnets will be damaged. A wrong setting in your esc/govenor could be the problem, as would too high an amp draw.

Sometimes, just adding a computer processor fan is all you need to lower the temps, or more vents in the canopy. Likewise, you might want to raise your head speed.

Your motor spec sheet should let you know the danger point.
