As we are flying larger electrics we have more room and power to put more stuff onboard. I have added the Eagle Tree E-Logger (http://www.eagletreesystems.com/MicroPower/micro.htm) to my Razor.
The E-Logger and other similar products allow us to understand what our power systems are doing. One of the parameters these monitors track is Amp Hours.
It seams obvious to me we could hook an alarm to the monitor and program it to sound (or flash if lights are used) when a specified number of MAH have been drawn from the batteries. This would be much better than the low voltage alarms out there. Obviously, it should monitor and alarm on low voltage as well, in case the batteries where not fully charged.
