Do I go down this road ?

Hi Guys,

Since I was last on this site last year I've been learning hard on my sim.
I really want to get into AP....I live in a heavily populated area where there are lots of villas which are mostly built on the sides of mountains, coastlines and hills. I think there might be a demand for good AP as most properties for sale are taken from the ground and don't lend themselves any juctice. Me concern is because its dense around here I could see myself taking off in peoples backyards and backroads. I do think about safety and wonder what advise anyone could give me on this. After seeing that Aussie guy's face all mashed up it does make me think.
I had me heart set on a Trex 600 but maybe I should re-think, what about one of those dragonflyer vt1pro things ? looks very safe but probably very limited in carry weight and the type of camera.
One side is saying go for the larger heli and the other is saying think about the safety side....also I'm finding difficult to get any insurance info other than club insurance. Can anyone give me any help, advice or pointers on this ?

Very very poor feedback on the forums about the Draganflyer thing... If you are concerned about safety in densely populated areas, have you considered an AP mast? You only need a very small footprint, and can go as high as 55 feet with the right gear, which will probably cover most of your shots.

The only problem is alot of properties are built on steep slopes and supporting a mast somewhere on a slope between properties might be difficult. I will have another look at it.
