How many minutes you getting? L14 Orbit 30-12 15T

How many minutes you getting? L14 Orbit 30-12 15T Pinion with FlightPower EVO 20 10s1p 3700. I could get 7-8 with the 14T.

I will probably start with 5 and see what I put back in.

I have ran that exact combo for some time on my one L14,

With the 15 tooth I land at 5mins, 30 seconds. This is goverend at 75% and approx 2270 HS. This is also with 11.5/11.5 pitch and 6.5 cyclics. Putting back in 2800-2850 mah back into a FP3700mah lipo. I don't like to fly anymore out of the lipo than that. Of course elevation, baro pressures, and of course your AUW and ranges will all make a difference. Curious whether you guys will like the 15T more. :wink:

Shawn, is this with a strecthed 14? I am going to fly mine stock for a while so with 580 blades I was thinking 14T might be better?

Yes sorry that is stretched and running 600 blades. I never flew 14 on the stock boom length and on 580s. So yes my time might be abit short for what you would see, or at least it would make sense that you should see some longer flight times. I know when Andy Rummer was running the Orbit he ran 15 tooth and that was with the 580 blades and normal boom length.

I would Agree Bob you shoudl try the 15 tooth wiht 580 blades iam guessing you would see around 6 to 6.30 wiht that setup wiht plenty of good solid power iam flying 2 L10's both are stretch identical setups but one iam running 515 blades andthe other is 555 blades iam seeing almost 2 minutes differance in run times

I didnt get to fly it last weekend as I didnt get it finished :(
The freakin cold was just too much.

Anyway I am working on it today and plan to finish it (and the videos) and plan to fly it Sunday!

Oh I am feeling MUCH better now and CRANKED out the remaining build vids today....

The Logo build is now complete and I will be flying her STOCK with 10S, Orbit 30-12 on 15T pinion, JETI ESC, etc... I cant wait! TOmorrow should be fun :)
