tail blade grip slop

When grabbing the tail blade grips and pulling them back and forth should there be any play/slop? Both of my grips have some in and out movement in them. Anything to worry about? This is on a new Intrepid gasser (std boom) with approximately a gallon and a half of fuel through it.

Yes, a slight amount of in and out play is normal, actually necessary to prevent binding.

Just be sure that the retaining bolt is installed all the way, with loctite.
