Although I agree that you will be fine 99.9% of the time, it only takes one accident and all hell can break loose.

Are those bottle rockets legal to fire where you live? I know here in CA all fireworks (except the ones that dont work) are completely illegal.

That being said, if they are legal where you live, then legally speaking, I doubt it matters how you launch them. But I just would not do it.

By the way, if I remember back to my days of model rockets, only takes 3VDC from D-cells to launch immediately. Since there is a long delay, I believe your firing circuit must be limiting the current causing the delays. You may also be over powering your electrical switch which can do damage.

You know the consequences.

I know what you are saying, and agree. But, I dont know your age, but I can tell you that the number of dumb/dangerous acts is directly proportional to age and experience. When I was 20 years old, I rode my motorcycles at 120MPH, but I dont anymore.

I did not make any derogatory statements, or belittle anyone, nor will I. We are all simply stating our opinions. Expecting us to not say anything is like when a women wears slutty clothing then gets pissed when guys look at her.

I don't think anyone is angry with your post, I know I am not. You are right about Youth doing stupid things, but we all did them too, it takes some time to grow up and realize you aren't invincible. Im 36, still young but not stupid. Great forum on this subject, lots of well educated people who can write up some good thoughts, you guys should be politicians!!!!
