i know it's been said before, but karma awaits this prick. i've skimmed over this thread a few times, and i can't believe the cajones this twerp has. he's obviously in over his head, whether it's with drugs or just the rush he gets from scamming. either way he's only headed to one of two places- jail or a pine box. sooner or later he's going to screw over the wrong person. if he goes to jail, well then we all know he'll get shimmed in the rear. if he gets killed (say he rips off a crip/blood, or a mafia dude) he's gonna have to answer to god. i usually have pity on these people, because i've been through my share of rough times with the drugs but damnit sooner or later it's time to GROW UP, get a job and be a productive member of society. just my .02 though.

I know I have seen him around other forums, I just don't make a habit of looking for the puke. I know enough to look out for him and if I see that he is buying or selling then I IM the other party and point them over to this forum and thread and show them the good side of life!! This is the way of this hobby, you always try to help the uninformed and the mis-guided.

I just read this 20 some pages about chris f-ing ray!! That is why I don't deal with anyone under 18 years old,They cannot be held to a contract because the are a MINOR and they can't make rational decision.I guess Ray you have to chalk this up to a learning experience . I posted on RR that I was looking for a 601 and he responded. After doing some research on his history I told him that I would do the deal ONLY IF he sent me the item first and then I would pay him. My 10 year 100% ebay rating and many RR Clasified references make that a no-brainer for anyone.

Never heard from him again. I would invite Will James and Mark Ryder to ban this irresponsible youngster from participating in ANY classified sales of any kind

Well first of all. This thread was started over 18 months ago. Ray had been waiting for several months then for payment. Ray is a great guy with a big heart and was trying to give the benefit of doubt.
Chris is not a youngster, he is 19 or 20 years old now. I go to a lot of events in the south, he has not been to any of them for over 2 years now. I would think he is out of the hobby. He lives south of me about 250 miles, close to Panama City beach.Last time I saw him was over 3 years ago.
I would think he is out of the hobby, if he is still flying, he is doing it at home. Because most of the people in the south that fly helis know about him and the deals gone bad.
I sold him a 9Z tranny a few years ago. He sent a Money Order, I waited for the MO to clear before I shipped the tranny. But just personally I would not do any business with him again. It was just too much aggravation and a hassle, even thou the deal went OK.
