I am very impressed with this machine. Had my first flight today and this thing is solid as a rock. I'm only running the stock motor for now so the power is abit low,,brushless in the future but WOW this thing is a kick. This is my first electric heli and so far have no complaints. Do LyPoly's get better with use? My run times are abit low at the moment. Is the Shogun clearly the best electric heli? I have never flown or seen another one.
Gonna go see if the battery is charged yet!

Sounds promisiing, I have a whole pile of gear sitting here waiting for the kit to come in, can't wait to try it.

Only thing I have found with my VERY LIMITED expierience with electric helis is to keep the head speed up so the stock motor isn't too loaded up at too low an rpm with a given pitch.
I would guess to always go for motor horsepower,,not torque as the engine will just produce more heat instead of power under too much load at too low an rpm/pitch. From what i understand an electric motor makes it's highest torque rating at a very low rpm,,,maybe like 0 rpm. Correct me if I am wrong on any of this.
I have been flying my first heli,, a Raptor for 6 months and had no trouble flying the Shogun. I forgot to dial in expo but it was so stable I didn't notice it at all.

the brushless will dramaticly increas runtimes not just give more power
