fan shroud

Magnum 60-90

I am at the point in the instructions, where I am to mount the fan shroud through the frame, through the g10 spacers and into the shroud it self, with 3x16 SHCS. I can't get them started? Does the shroud have threads for the screws? Are these the correct screws or should they be self tapping?

They're the correct ones. We use to use 2.5mm bolts, but found them to strip the plastic too easily.

If you chamfer the hole slightly with your X-Acto knife, it will be easier to get it started.
