Hi All,

I'm posting this for my girlfriend because she has not come up with a 'handle' yet or registered or any of that good stuff...

But please join me in welcoming her to the flock.

With just a few pointers and a 'brief moment of terror' when she confused 'down stick with FULL UP stick' and smacked the ceiling in the apartment (hehe)...she was starting to get the knack for hovering.

First flight: 11 Jan 2007

Helicopter: Blade CX2 with a couple shiny blue parts already!

Thanks,

Don (aka 500Driver) & Jen (aka ???)

 Welcome

They are TONS of people to fly with in Ohio and the top female heli pilot (in my opinion) Malorie lives up near there. Check out her flying:

She actually flies better but she always holds back on the demos.

Welcome aboard. Tell Jen she will definitely have fun flying heli's. The wife(kjfly) has got the addiction badly. I love when we get to fly together. Fun is what it is all about. What part of Columbus area? we live on the east side.

Hey 500Driver, I just love my little CX2 its great fun. Welcome to your gf Jen, I'm sure the CX2 is the best way to get her hooked on helis. This thing can do fig 8's in a 7x7 room!!!! I got a pic in my gallery.....

Hello Jen (got a handle yet?) and Karen (lamagirl)

Welcome to the Freak!! This is a great place, your going to love it. You get great tips, encouragement, support, and laughs - lots of laughs!!
:happyd

For us ladies it is a great place to "meet" other lady pilots - there are so few of us!

Hey Jen - what part of columbus are you in?
I have a Blade CX2 also - bought it for flying indoors this past winter - still didn't get a chance to fly it as much as I wanted - I took it outside yesterday and thought I was a real pilot and was doing forward flight trying to go in a circle - didn't quite make it and then I dumb thumbed it and came in too hard for a landing and broke the landing gear - oh but what fun it was!! It just gave me a taste again - now I want to get my TRex and/or my Swift out there and flying again - but I better work on that forward flight more on the sim!!
