I now have the 140 CCPM conversion in my Stratus FAI with about 20 flights on it. Mechanically, the conversion was straight forward, requiring the drilling of two holes with a provided jig and gluing of two doubling reinforcers for the bellcrank pivots. Unfortunately, with the 14MZ you are required to build a completely new program since the radio does no allow conversion of a 120 CCPM program but that was basically done in about 3 hours.
There is a noticeable difference in how true the swashplate tracks, requiring only a fraction of the trimming in the 14MZ that the 120 CCPM did. My first flight was anti-climatic. The model flew very well and rolled better than the 120 model right out of the chute.
I have the second model torn down right now for conversion so will know a lot more when I have two flying to compare.
