Default CF rod glued to Flybar mod

I tried the mod where you glue the cf rod underneath the flybar, and I was very impressed on how it flew. It was still fast, but it made the turns and everything a lot more predictable and flew straight and steady with the extra weight on the flybar. It was all good until I hit a wall just like I've done many times before but this time the flybar broke due to the CF rod I'm sure.

Wondering if anyone has tried just adding weight to the flybar to get the same results. Or if the CF rod is necessary to stiffen the flybar up to get those flying characteristics. I wouldn't recommend it for outdoor flying, but for indoors it makes it have a much better scale style flying.

Heavier paddles slows down and dampens cyclic response, while making the heli more stable. Adding weight anywhere besides at the ends is counter-productive. Also, the flexibility of the flybar is a good thing-- It makes it more durable, and prevents crash stress from being transferred to the links, which can break the guides.

Superglue a tiny jeweler's screw into the hole in the ends of each flybar paddle, using the same size drop of glue on both sides. This will give you more stability.

The expensive MicroHeli flybar supposedly has a bit more paddle weight for a similar effect, with more precision.
