A loaded antenna?
I see they did not follow the instructions. You are supposed to cut the wire.

Installation:
Cut Original receiver antenna 1" (25mm) to 3" (76mm) from the case, strip 1/8" (2.5mm) insulation and solder on pre-stripped end of Micro Antenna to your original one.
