problem with storing files

im having problems with transfering audio files from my PC to my Futaba14mz, every time i connect the Radio to the PC, the PC does not recognize the transmitter eventhough it is connected with the USP cable.
am I doing something wrong??!!

It only works by moving the CF-card to a PC card-reader, USB is just for service purposes (by authorized personal), so far...
