i did saved some files on the memory card of my 14MZ but when i play them back, the volume level coming out of the dario speaker was so so so low, you can hardly hear it eventhough the volume indicator on the LCD shows the highest level. Is that normal!!

The default for sound file volume is MID volume... You can actually program a knob (i use the middle knob) as a volume control that is remembered even after power off. But even then the little speaker is not that loud.... I have seen some folks mount tiny little sony speakers to the top of the radio.
