*Fusion 50 Setup's*

I have to say now that I am going to buy this chopper soon as I can and can't wait. Just wondering if we can start a thread on setup list's only here. I'm trying to figure out what all to use. So far here is my setup except the motor and lipo's.

What would be the flight time's on 12s 3500mah vs. 10s 5000mah?-
Also what pinion gear should I run?

Can't wait to see the prototype in the Orlando helicopter Blowout and get more info about setups for this machine.

I think the 12S setup is the best for this machine, I hope I can get 5 to 6 minutes with 3300mAh.

I like the Sab 620, Lukas is swinging the same blades, I go to run the v-bar 5.0 but I want to see how works the SK-720 on Lukas Fusion 50 to.

Yeah I'v read up on most of this stuff, and I was trying to decide over 10-12s setup. I also want a pretty nice flight time, and I don't think with a 12s setup 3300mah at 2350rpm will take more than a 4minute flight at best.

10s 4500mah will be more like 5min depending on blade size and how you fly of coarse. I don't really do hardcore 3D so I'll probably lean toward's the 12s with 3300mah and 600mm blade's, with less headspeed.

Any other motor choice idea's? Also, the motor mount bracket that they are using on these kit's, will the fusion 50 come with one, or where can I buy one?

I am planning the following
FBL system MicroBeast
Cyclic: Outrage BL 9080
Tail servo: possibly Outrage BL 9188 (if it becomes available) / alternative JR8900 with voltage regulator to provide proper voltage
Motor: xera 4025/3y-560 (pinion -> have to see what main gear is on it in order to decide)
Blades: will test the Zigsaw blades first (weigh less than 114 gram each) and change possibly to Edge FBL as an option.
Batteries -> will use the Hyperion 2950 mAh packs (2 in series) for 12S setup at the beginning(have those on the TRex 500) and might change to 3300 mAh packs (depends on flight time and experience)


Hopefully this one will work OK.

In HeliDirects blade recommendations , they do not list any edge blades. Anyone know why? Does it have anything to do with the root thickness?

Unsure of batteries, I've got a set of 3000 mah 5s packs for an EDF and several more 2650 mah 6s packs for a Trex 500. I was building the Fusion for 10s but could I run the Trex 6s packs through it as well? I'll likely order some 5s packs in the 3800-4000 mah range.
