I posted observations from the first field flights on this (http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=27637) thread.

Since that post I have moved the belt tensionor one hole forward. That did greatly reduce the ringing sound while side-on.

I have set a 5 minute timer on my DX7 and found that 5 minutes uses about 46% of my 4350 MAH packs. This will be default until I have 7 cycles on the packs.

On my second day, while installing the port side battery pack, the balance plug caught the connection wire to the Spektrum secondary receiver and unplugged it. This caused a pretty big problem getting the radio to connect. After shutting both the transmitter and receiver off and on several times, the radio finally connected. This was odd and has me looking at a different wire route for the secondary receiver module.

Flying the second day was great but, there was occasional light wind. The wind made it hard to judge the stability.

I went to a local school field this afternoon. The air was dead calm. I hovered the Razor at about 2.5 cm (1 inch) off a tarpaulin over the school field. With the hover stable, I took fingers off the sticks for about 5 seconds. The Razor stayed very still. That is very impressive stability.

I am still taking the flights very easy while the packs break in. Soon I will start pushing it. Of course, I am a noob pilot so, I won't push it that hard for some time to come.

Bottom line, I really like this heli. No buyers remorse here. Stop himin' and hawin', buy the thing, you will not regret it.
