I have just got my shiny new Total-G for my Trex 600N and I am now looking at what Voltage regulator to use with it, I have a Scott Gray ReactorX2 but I was looking at the Arizona, how easy is it to hook up to the Total-G?? has anybody tried it?

What input voltage do you want to run? What voltage to your cyclics? What voltage to tail and throttle? The answers to those will help decide.

Hi,
I was thinking 6V for the cyclic servos, will the Gyro/tail servo be okay at that voltage? My tail servo is an Align DS620 so will be okay at 6V??

Well... here's something to consider. The DS620 is a marginal tail servo AT BEST and chances are that you'll be upgrading it in the future. Most of the better tail servos are rated at 5v or a full 8v with 5v being the most common. Arizona Regs are great regulators but a little awkward to mount imho. What battery you want to use is another consideration and whether you're trying to keep the heli light or you don't care about weight. If you're going to run a 2s LiPo then you'll probably want a regulator to keep them at 6v but if you ran a 2s LiFe at 6.6v then you wouldn't need to regulate the cyclics and could go with something smaller. So my recommendation would be one of three choices and it all depends on what battery you want to run and how much you want to spend.
Option#1- Regulated for 6v to cyclic - Could run either LiPo or LiFe battery
2s Lipo Approx 2100-2500mah

and a PushGlo
Option#2- Unregulated 6.6v - Very lightweight setup
2s LiFe similar to this http://www.readyheli.com/HP-FR21002S-Hyperion-LiFePO4-66v-2S-2100mAh-RX-Pack_p_33833.html
PR Failsafe w/dual 5v outs http://www.perfectregulators.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=37&product_id=76
and a PushGlo
Option#3 - Most expensive but gives you the opportunity to change voltages later if you wish and has built in glow ignitor
2s Lipo 2100-2500mah

You already have one of the best solutions out there with the ReactorX2. This is what I am going to use with my TotalG. It will supply triple redundant 5.2 Volts to the Total G which will be plenty and will cover your Tail Servo. Then you can select one of 3 Cyclic servo voltages. 6V NOMINAL servos can be run at the 6.8V REGULATED setting (such as 610's, 8717's) without issue.
