CX average run time?

Hey ya'll new to the Heli hobby, but been in RC's for the last 20 years or so... wish I would have been in this part of the hobby long time ago... Anyway...

I just got me a Blade CX and must say I am loving it... just wish my flight time were longer that 8-9 minutes on the stock battery. What is everyone running for flight times?

I am also new the to LiPo side of the house and have been told not to run the battery dead, not to charge right after flight, etc etc.

I am curious if I can purchase a larger capacity 7.4v LiPo that will work on the stock E-Flight charger until I can get a decent setup?

DN Power make a 900mAh 2s pack that slips straight into the CX and can be charged from the supplied CX batt charger - same connectors. The stock pack is only 800mAh so theres and extra 12% flight time for ya.

Alternatively, cut away the stock batt holder/cradle and used rubber bands to hold a bigger pack between its skids, 1200-1300 mAh 2s pack should be liftable (terrible word).
