I'm interested too but it's too soon. I have only 8 flights on record so i will wait a little... Will you sell it just during a limited time?
Beside, it's light but my Lepton is already a little tail heavy. It will be much worse with this canopy. Hum, next bat i will buy will be heavier

90$ seems a bit too high. I can get a fully painted fuse for a Trex 600 for 70$, and the quality is great.
My opinion, Jeff :glasses2:
It is like any other new item; you pay the price to be the first one to own one and then other manufacturers will start producing these and the price will come down.
Cheers

I have been waiting for someone to come with these! (My stock Lepton canopy has some road rash) I "need" a 'plain' one and one painted white. Where do I pay and when do I get them? :D

Okay, I ordered one. :)
Can somebody please either point me to a thread, or threads, that talk about all the "essential" upgrades? Where do you get, for instance, the tail raising kit. Also, I see the thread on the pinions that somebody is doing but are there any other sources for anything besides the 24T and 26T stock ones? Makes it really hard to try different setups. I want to try a couple of 5s setups, maybe one with a Z20A, but the 24T would make for some pretty extreme headspeeds. :D
John, I see on your site you list a 5s setup with a Hacker A30-12XL. Is that using the stock 24T pinion? That would give a 100% h/s around 3400  What is the max this head will take, does anyone know yet?

GG,
email sent. I know Kovi is working on some nice upgraded steel pinions, and the Lepton on 5S outpowers 90 sized pumped nitros. You'll see.

I agree. My 5s caught some people off guard. Lots of oohhs and ahhs when it debuted at the field.
Looking forward to getting some more pinions.
Maybe kovi will eventually send me the pinion I paid him for 5 months ago.

I got the canopy and it is perfect. The quality is top notch and you will not be dissapointed in them at all. I think I am going to be sending this one to DYD
and get it painted.
Gary, did someone get back to you on essential upgrades? There are only a fairly small number that I've seen anyway. mjp carbon is the source.
Stretched fin set---only the vertical is needed: http://www.mjpcarbon.com/inc/sdetail/4995
Tail lift kit: http://www.mjpcarbon.com/inc/sdetail/5216
Rear frame connector---strengthens frame: http://www.mjpcarbon.com/inc/sdetail/5628
I also put the front carbon braces on: http://www.mjpcarbon.com/inc/sdetail/5628
