View Full Version : Blade CP Pro
I have had my BCPP for awhile now and after fixing it from the latest crash I have noticed my flight time decreasing and its now down to no more than 1 minute before full collective doesn't produce enough lift to hover.
I have volt meter'd the battery and it is reading 11.8v so I think that is ok. I don't really know what else to look at through.
Any sugestions for a newer helicopter pilot?
Thanks much-

Check to make sure the paddles are ligned up correctly, even if one is off just a little bit it really affects lift.

Sounds like you've over discharged your Lipos, its happened to me too. You get 11.1 v after a charge, but when you put them under load the voltage drops quickly and you will typically get 1 or 2 minutes. The cause is simply flying past the point at which you should have landed and recharged your batts.
A little off topic here but since testing lipos is in the air, what's the correct way to test with a multimeter? I remember reading somewhere that you can damage the battery with the probes somehow?
BCPP 11.1 v 800mah
Thanks
Fast, I hope you get a fix soon. Or even faster!

Not haveing a tool to measure the angle of each flybar paddle, is there good technique I can use? I noticed one was twisted and tried my best to line it up by eye, but I am not sure what the relationship of the angle to the main rotor blades should be.
I guess I could have discharged the battery too much. I want to be carefull about spending too much money on it though because I think I am just going to get a raptor come spring.
