Hey Steve,
I noticed that ya'll sell vertical fins as well. Are these any longer? If I put on the longer tail blades I will not have much clearance. What about landing gear? Are ya'll going to offer any choices other than the stock Hirobo.

I found that the Logo 10 stock landing skids work perfectly on my Leppy.
Just have to drill holes for cap screws to mount to Leppy :D
Oh i ordered the fins,,let you know length when i get them.

Aren't those logo 10 gear kinda tall and goofy looking? Been looking for some gear for aftermarket gear for my lepton but have yet to find any that look right.

Yes the Logo gear is tall and sort of goofy lookin, but its better then replacing tail parts due to ground scraping

Well i got those 68mm tails today and of course some grinding needed to be done(root thickness uneven) they also bind badly in the HDX metal tail grips, but seem ok in stock grips, also no brass inserts as shown in pic! And the bolt holes are a bit bigger( bolt slops around)
And the fin set has to be drilled to work properly,,it comes with 2 holes drilled horizontal, but need to be vertical! :(

Gotta love HDX!
I got my HDX tails too
the picture above shows brass eyelet but alas none on the actual blades that arrived
The thing is, they are really strong and very consistent manufacture
The ones from ReadyHeli are very poor consistency and very expensive
Cracks and carbon slivers coming away
One set was so badly out of balance that I bent two tail spindles
before I realised what the problem was
(the tails wrecked each spindle in a single flight)

I also agree on the actual quality of these tails, they are finished very well and scaled at 1.75gr each and they look great. I am in process of drilling and inserting brass eyelets for tighter tolerence on mounting bolts. I still can't use them on my HDX cnc tail grips due to lack of blade root diameter. the only blades that i can get to fit perfect are the stock plastic tailblades that have a larger root diameter.(as shown in pic above)

Voyager E tail blades are the same thickness than stock blades. In fact a little bit more, just a little bit. They are entering in the blade grips with soft resistence when stock blades have very little play. But V.E. blades are drilled for a 2,5mm screw. I drilled them to 3mm and insert a brass eye let of 3*2.2mm. Not tested yet but should be fine. I still have to balance the set.

Jafa, our blades are imported directly from Germany, and are sold by Robbe as one of their stock parts. The other blades you are referring to are made in China, and are of not the same quality. If you have any problems with the products we import, please let us know. From time to time even a BMW & Mercedes Benz needs to have service done to fix their quality assurance issues...on a side note, the EU dollar is MUCH stronger then our dollar and all of our German imports (including Mikado, Kontronik, Plettenburg, and Hacker) command a higher premium due to inflated shipping and export costs compared to parts manufactured in the Pacific Rim.

I personally run the ones from Readyheli and I have had no problems with them at all. The sets that I have use were all properely balanced and no cracks or slivers. They also have the brass inserts. I have tried the HDX main blades and they were ok but I perfer others before I go HDX.
Yes John, fully appreciate that you do stand behind your products.
My flying friend Andrew also got a bad set and you did replace them,
top marks to you...
I;ve finally got my camera back tonight,
I photographed the blade and sent you an email,
the crack is actually under the clear of the blade,
so it's a manufacturing issue...
Regards,
Martin...
