I am looking for some suggestion's or advice on removing the pinion and cluthch bell from the bearing and block. In the spring I replaced the clutch lining and used red loctite (as per the manual) to hold the pinion in the bearing block, now in doing some maintenence over the winter I removed the engine am going to put in a new lining and I cannot get the bell and pinion out of the bearing. I dont really want to split the frame to get at the bearing, but if that is the only solution I will.
I have read that using heat will loosen the loctite but I dont know how I would get heat to it.
Any help would be appreciated.
My heli is a JR Venture 50.
Thanks
Tom
Well, the In my Vigor, the red loctite was the medium strength, and the green was the high strength. That was the stuff they sent with the kit. So if they meant to use medium and you used red that could be part of the problem. Apparently Japanese people don't like blue.....
Most of the time you have to use heat. You will more than likely have to split the frame, and replace the bearing, because bearings don't last long after you use heat on them.

You could try heating the parts up with a heat gun or soldering iron. That might get it hot enough to release the red loctite.

Thanks for the help guy's, I managed to get at the pinion and get a pair of pliers on it and I was able to get the clutch bell off leaving the pinion in the bearing, I put loctite on the new bell and put it back on the pinion.
Again, thanks for the advice
