good deal?

i am going to look at buying a xcell fury extreme for 1000$. it has a 70 os szh? and it has a futabe 601 with 9254 and a gv-1 and carbon blades. has 2700 miah batt and no tx\rx. i have a spektrum for it.
it also has the hitori pipe i guess. does this sound like agood deal?
also is this kit still being built? are there lots of parts and i heard that i can put a 90 in it. is this true? and is there a lot of mods needed to fit the 90?
also the cyclic servos are ok but i have extra 9252's for it. o and it has the all metal head.
i currently fly a raptor 50 decked out. is the xcell a much better heli?

GY 601 is discontinued. It comes with 9251 servo. The 9254 will not work with GY 601. It sold for $320

GV1 is $150 new

Hatori muffler is about $130 new

The Extreme does not come with all metal head.

Yes the Extreme and all the parts for it are still manufactuered by MA.

If you want to put a 90 in it, it will depend on what gear ratio is in now. The Extreme comes in 8.45 and 8.18 gear ratio. I would think someone that was using an OS 70 probably changed it to 9.3 or 9 to 1.
Maybe that changing the ratio is just a pinion and side plate change.
I would ditch the 2700 mah battery if it is A sized cells. It will not work with the all digitals.

I think the Extreme will fly much better than the 50 size you currently have and be a better heli.
Unless all the stuff is fairly new and in great shape. $1000 sounds a little to the high side to me.

well i see what your saying. i addded it up and it is only about 1600. thats with no servo's. but like i said the guy is running less than servos. your right though, the tail servo was a 9251. he said the motor has less than ten gallons. he said he hasnt flown that much and no 3d. he said its a gas guzzler though. i dont care about that.
now you got me thinking about this deal.
