E Sky lama 3 no control

What a mess. Turned on transmitter, throttle and trim down connect battery and red light flashing red to green over and over. So I wiggled the crystal back and forth and the heil starts spinning for about 5 seconds uncontrollably. Then stops (usually after hitting something). I tried some throttle no effect. I have no say in what is happening. Any suggestions?

Is it flashing red-green-red-green-red-green nonstop? If so it means that the heli is not getting a signal from the transmitter.

Yes it is flashing red green, red green non stop. So I giggled the crystal and is seems to catch than the blades start swirling on their own. No throttle.

I have heard of some of the transmitters battery tabs not making good contact, it may be worth checking. Is the crystal secure?

What a mistake I will not put a cent into this plastic toy. I now have to decide to buy a Blade CP Pro $285., Honeybee CP2 $299, or really go for broke a TRex $800. I live across from a school with 19 acres. Behind the wind should not be too much of an issue (I hope). Any suggestions.

Tail motors suck............go for the Rex. :D

I've had great luck with our Lama. Had it over a year. Replaced the tail boom 3 times, center shaft one time, a set of blades. The weather has been rotten lately so I've been flying it 2 or 3 times a day for kicks and giggles.

I have the same problem. I checked the tx battery tabs and bent the tabs to make better contact with the batteries. The problem seems to be the rx crystal, I have even removed the rx crystal casing and plugged the rx crystal directly into the main board with a real snug fit, but with no success. When you wiggle the rx crystal, the blades spin for 2-3 secons, then all is dead again. Any ideas on this?

ok, here is what I could gather. I swaped with my buddies Lama v4 tx, and when flying with his tx, no problem. I also swapped the tx crystals between my tx and his tx, but my tx still won't work, so the problem must be with my tx.
