CX2 2.4 Transmitter question

I was wondering if I could use my transmitter on a sim. If so which sim can I use it on. I am very new to the RC world, I bought a CX2 to learn on and I have already crashed it 4 times, gone through 2 sets of blades and broke the upper rotor head....LOL Any help would be appreciated!

The transmitter has been used by some with the FMS simulator and two interface programs. You need a stereo plug due to the position of the contacts in the rear plug. At least, i think that is right.
