got my leppy all done and noted the following...

1. hovering in the basement is a bad idea. Nothing bad happened but this thing sure is no TREX, scary fast

2. krylon fusion seems to stick ok the the canopy BUT, if you put on multi coats do what the directions say (additional coats in 24 hrs or after 7 days) I painted the window black and the damn stuff crinkled a bit. It'll look fine in the air I guess.

3. tail balde clearance needs more clearance. With the stretched fins and the $40 ready heli blades, I still nicked them up a bit.

4. I love the quality (align and TT are nice but this is different!)

5. I love my raptors but, nitro is a pain ;)

any comments welcome :D

LOL I know what you mean about not flying in the garage. I normally build my helis and then test hover them in the living room. When I tried that with the Lepton I nearly wet my pants! not only is it bigger but when I took it outside to tach it the hadspeed was actually over 3200rpm ! WOW ! Big blades like that at 3200 is SCARY anywhere, especially in a living room. Since then Ive reduced the headspeed to just over 3000 (still waiting on those new pinions to lower it a bit more). Even with the lower headspeed, the Lepton is just not indoor material, unless you live in a friggin castle.
