Oh Alvin, messing about on that rc truck site I see. Hope to see your heli up and airborne soon man!

I was asked to start a build there. Hopefully it sparks some interest. I just finished it and all I have to do know is get the bullet connectors, servo wire extensions and the spacer for the main shaft and spacers for the main and tail blades. Almost there. :D

Well it's nice... and I'm not trying to start a problem.... but...
If I'm not mistaken, aren't the good people of this site trying to build a following here? I may have it wrong, but isn't full-on posting of your project on another sight a little thoughtless? I doubt the patient maintainers of this sight will say anything but I wonder if you're not taking advantage of their good nature? After all, you are asking people to leave here, go there, and look at your heli thread (and all their advertising). After all this is a heli site too. Right?
Have I misinterpreted things?

Nah we share the love. We have forum support staff that spend more time over there than here. Huh Miskimo?
But it has motivated us. Be on the look out for a Razor build video ;)

We really appreciate your loyalty Bill.
Basically, the bottom line is people are learning here and flying their helis, that is what matters most. I am like you in that I stay here only, and don't have time to go elsewhere and I am also loyal to HF.

The only reason that I started a thread on the other forum is that I was asked to as a favor because another member helped me get one of the kits. I also know that if I started a build thread here it would not be that great because all of the main MA Factory Pilots are here and me being a weekend flyer my build thread would seem pathetic compared to the support that you can get here.
I am sorry if I offended anyone here by doing this. That was not my intent. My intent was to hold my part in thanking that member that helped me get my kit and hopefully sparking more interest in the Razor which is by far the best E-Heli I have ever built.
Once again sorry to all of the HF owners, forum support and members if I have offended anyone. At least I didn't do a build thread on RR! :D
I love HF. This is the best forum there is period. :smokin: :smokin: :D

EHeliFlyer... I'm the one that should be apologizing.
I really did like you thread. While I don't own a Razor, it did make me want one. :)
As other have pointed out, the purpose of this forum is to support heli fliers in whatever way best serves them. Your post was completely in line with that goal. I shouldn't have posted and if I didn't think it would made a mess of this thread, I'd edit my original comments. Thanks and sorry.
No worries,

Wjvail thank you but there is no need to apologize. I had some mixed feelings about doing it but I figured that with all of the new helis coming out and the Great support you can get here on HF I didn't feel there was a need to do a build thread here.
Here you have Clint Stone, HC, Eric Larson and all of the main MA Pilots here which is why I decided not to do one here. They will give you more support than I could even begin to with the Razor.
All I know is that I love HF and I love my new Razor!!! :D I was just hoping for some type of suggestions on how to better my build thread which is already done. It is simple but they get the jest of it.
I am just obsessed with RC Helis and would like for more people to realize how awesome of a Heli the Razor is.
Again my Appologies and thanks to all of HF and the members.

HUH! , well , I sure didnt mean to start a scrap , but I will own up to asking him to start a build thread on ezone , and to tell the truth , Loyal huh? theres not a day goes by ,that I dont spend time on all 3 major sites I got too , everytime I hook up , I press 3 explores, then a 4th to check my mail , in the morning , luch time and now after 12 long hours of the grind
Ezone has been nothing but good to me since 2001, and before that , RConline, and the reason why I asked , spread the joy , ezone isnt a diehard MA fan site , 90% of them wanna stay on the cheap side . and will never know till they see someone different spreading what kind of machine MA makes , everyone thinks its a high dollar machine , but you get what you pay for . ONE nice smooth flying machine out of the box without buying all this hiped up bull shit hopup parts that comes with most manufactors and there junk . by the time they spend all the cash on hopping it up , you can buy 2 Razors.

I post on RC groups too (mostly lurk) and find the advice there is hit or miss (mostly miss) and they aren't dedicated to Heli's. IMHO as a newb this is the best site for Heli's I've found so far.

I know what you mean about getting what you pay for Tony. No matter how hard I try to love a machine like my MA machines, I just can't do it. Ho matter what other heli I try, I always gravitate back to the MA quality. It is kinda funny, how a lot of people think the MA machines are complicated and hard to put together. I find them to be just the opposite, where it is easy and fun for me to build and fly them. They also have the best looking carbon in the business that I have seen.
Anyway, it was probably a good idea and to start the build thread there, and Tony is just doing his job as a Rep as well, so no harm no foul.

(Look at me. Now I'm not only posting to another forum, but I'm hijacking a thread! :?)

All of us have given up on Mark and RunRyder. He want to do this his way to his benefit. He give a rats ass about the community or helping people fly. He worries about his job. His job is RR. We all 'here' have real jobs and do this because we love flying, hanging out, helping other people get in the air, and having a good time doing it.
But please do not go over there and stir up crap... it never does anything positive for anyone. Thank you.

Very well said Dan. I definitely do not appreciate that either.

Wow... Wooo... Ouch... Folks... I didn't mean to cause such a stir.
My question was far simpler that the replies would suggest. If Bill is here I'd like to know it. That is all! Don't read any more into it. A simple "no" would have made the point.
I pity the fool that gets involved in a discussion with any number of individuals and doesn't know who they are talking too. I only included the link to suggest the importance of knowing this. I was NOT suggesting that you migrate there to spend the morning pissing on a spark plug! The suggested thread should make the point that there are others who make a living at pushing buttons and Bill is one of them. It'd be nice to know if they (he) are here. That is all!
I gotta admit I was totally caught without my flame suit on with this one! I didn't get the memo!
