out of curiosity i checked pitches for left and right aileron and up and down elevator with the pitch Gage and the pitches are different ex. for up elevator i have a blade pitch of +9 and down elevator of - 8 for control inputs these numbers should be the same correct? aileron is way out ex. right aileron is +10.5 and left is -8 this something that i will have to straiten out before i can fly it properly when i get to that point. also is AFR the same as travel limits and does it make that big of a difference in a mechanical ccpm heli. based on what i found with my heli it's going to go more in on direction that the other in both aileron and elevator if it does make a difference :-) i stumbled on a video on pitch setup on the helifreak site about pitch setup with aileron and elevator to get equal throws for these to controls and i was wondering what your pitches are at because i checked mine and mine are way off much i have the jr 8103 and futaba calls this AFR what do i do to fix it adjust my travel limits?

You have to make sure your swash plate is level. Set mid stick and put a pitch gauge on and rotate it 45 degrees at a time checking 0, chances are you have some trim going on.

Also thats quite a bit, 7 degrees, maybe 8 is plenty for most people.

And if your just getting started 6.5 is more than enough cyclic pitch.

you need to make sure servos are centered etc... here is a setup link, its not a stinger, but concepts are the same:

Also with the Stingers you must make sure that the flybar is perpendicular to the mainshaft while checking pitches.
