Remember the old Voodoo control line combat plane? Well I had one with a fox 35 I think it was. I had landed hard and unknowingly broken the main spar. So the next time I started it the wing basically fell apart. So I had a screaming 35 in my face and basically nothing holding it. It flopped once, I pushed it to the ground and it died. I was breathing hard chest pounding. Then noticed a blade of the prop stuck about an Inch in my leg. 15 years old.

It didn't hurt for about 3 minutes. Then it felt like someone shoved a soldering iron in my leg. LOL I'm laughing now.

I also saw a guy try and hand toss this little rc pusher one day with an .049. It went across the palm of his hand. Cut the piss out of him like 10 times.

Some people dont realize prop pitch is written on the prop. There are safer ways to check it!

Ok this vid is a bit "graphic" as you guys call it. I don't know anything about this vid except what they're saying in it.

DISCLAIMER: This video is of a bloody wound not Heli flying
I guess the guy was listening to his music with his back to the flying field so he didn't hear anything coming. (http://tollerteppich.net/index.php?section=media1&act=download&path=/media/archive1/Modellbau/&file=Beinverletzung_Durch_Modellhubschrauber.wmv)

I want wazabe!
(suddenly sushi comes to mind)

I`m wondering ...was he a bystander facing the other way when a beginnerīs hover went bad?
or was he on his knees starting a heli with idle up and the tail slashed him?
Or maybe he lost control of the heli, dropped everything, started running away from it, and the heli cough him from behind?

The tail would not causs this kind of damage. It was main rotor blades for sure.
