I have an OS 91 C-Spec PS engine with pump but the pump was damaged and is not working correctly anymore.

I can replace the pump for about $90 or put a Perry pump in it for about $30. Since there are some differences between the Perry pump and the OS I am some what inclined to go with the $90 pump.

I was wondering if I am better off going with the Cline regulator and carb modifications? Does this make more sense then spending $90 on a replacement OS pump?

The OS pump is a little different than the Perry Pump. Perry makes the pump used on the OS engine to OS specs.

If you decide to go with a Cline setup. You will need a 60K carb also. The carb that comes with the PS engine will not work with the Cline.

Looks like the 60K will cost about $110. The 60K-C is $105. Both seem to be for the OS 91SX-H C-Spec so I am not sure whice one I need!

Can anyone advise what the Cline setup will cost? Do I want the big bore option as well?

What differences will I see?

What other options OS 91 SZ-H-PH-Hyper w/Pump & Regulator or others should I consider?

Is it possible to run my C-Spec PS and bypass the pump? Does the 60K allow me to to this?

The 60K carb is the one that is needed for the Cline setup.

Cline installed by OMI and carb modified. $80
Big Bore mod $125

You might contact OMI and see if he has a complete carb that is ready to put on engine. He usually keeps a couple that are ready to send out.

As for differences. The cline setup from OMI runs consistent and the needles hardly need tweaking. The Big Bore mod definitely gives more power than the stock bore on the carb.

I had PS Cspecs. They are now OMI BB Cline setups. I messed with the pump system for about 6 months. It was great when it was running correctly. I just could not get it to run the same from day to day. Now with the Cline setup, it is the same always.
