As I told Greg many year ago, I won't be doing the FF thing, but I will be "that guy" when it comes to online support.

On a personal note I am alittle hurt when you Outrage Fans say that without Charley all the support is gone. Clyde and I put in a lot of our own time to help you folks out online. I read every single post that is posted on Outrage Forums, and reply to any thread that I can participate in. That is getting alittle trickier these days as Outrage has become very popular, when I started most of the threads were with just Charley, Clyde, me, and HC talking.

We know that Capi! It's because of you I have O550s! Thank you for all the help over the last year or two! I don't think I've read more than a dozen posts by Charlie... he was more a background character.

For the record, I never even considered there to be lacking support from the field reps on this forum. Quite the contrary, and, for me, it was about meeting Foxden at IRCHA '09 and being made to feel welcome to approach with questions and such. And, maybe Dominic's reply wasn't directed at my post, anyway, since I said nothing of this kind...Solaris said earlier in this thread that he'd not seen stock for certain 550 parts in several months. I am confident enough in parts support for the 550, I have no desire to sell mine. It's still my favorite bird to date.

I was more thinking that I am hopeful that you, as field reps, are able to continue to RECEIVE the support from Outrage that you've had with Charley. Foxden, DominicD, and HC have often provided support - perhaps mainly your own personal experiences, but often there were answers and comments in reference to what you've been told directly by Charley from his very own prototype testing, problem solving and such. Some companies call this TS&D (Technical Support and Development). I know mine does.

I just hope those of us who've expressed concerns for Outrage don't take it as such a personal slam. I know that is not where I've been coming from. It's tough to imagine what's going on with several guys leaving, and we're just the uninformed public.

To you guys, thanks as always for being there...my two prior seasons were by-far the funnest with the 550, thanks in large part to personal helps from here, and just a few parts. I have been very fortunate.

Thank you very much for your support. Charley has been a great friend of ours and we will all miss Charley. Things go on and we will continue to support you. Any more questions about support or products please create a new thread.

Let's move on and close this topic so we can have more appropriate threads to discuss.

Again, thank you very much for your continuous Outrage support. We will continue to provide outstanding products with great supports.

Best regards,

Team Outrage

FWIW ;)

I've got four (FB) G5s, and I'm building my 1st FBL G5. They're the biggest heli I fly.

I hope that if the G5 does eventually get retired, it's only because there's a (comparable) G6 coming... ;)

Thanks Rob for the kind words, I know that Charley, HC, Dominic, and myself have always felt you guys that purchase and fly the Outrage product line as our FAMILY, we are here to help and support you, I've been in the hobby on and off since 1983 when I built my GMP Cricket and Cobra, went through a divorce so I never learned to fly like my kid, then I got back into it 8 years ago and try to pass along the tips and tricks I've learned over the years, I enjoy building now more than flying and have become the Team Mechanic at events and really enjoy being able to help and support the Team and you guys are loyal customer base.

I am still here also...even tho it has been ages since I have had time to come on and post much. When I first came on board with Outrage it was pretty much strictly working under Charley and I had time to post...and also made time to post after working all day. As my position changed more and more with the company, and trying to have a little bit of a "non-helicopter" normal life in the evenings...I became less and less active on the forums to the point a lot of the newer Outrage Customers probably don't even have a clue who I am.

With Charley no longer with Outrage...all of us are being given new responsibilities and such. I will be trying to spend more time on the forums and hopefully along with "Outrage RC", Clyde and Dom and others...get the word out to our customers.

I will be posting more as "Prestige RC" the exclusive US distributor of Outrage Products. You all...the end consumer ultimately are my concern...but my position is to get the word out to the dealers, which in turn the dealers have the info for you, the consumers...

I have been in the foreground and background of Outrage since hired by Charley's recommendation over 3 years ago...so not new by any means to the Outrage family...just daily business and responsibilities of Prestige RC have kept me away...I hope I am back and will be spending more time on the forums again...

Please feel free to ask questions.

We Know.charlie is a great heli designer and my God be with him where ever he goes. Peps I have my O550 now for a year. The reason I got the heli because I was reading threads on it and ones of the guys I fly with had one and fell in love with it then. And I was happy that Align had some compention out there. The only reason the align came out with the 550 is becuz the O550 was out. So I will keep my O550 and my get another to go alone with my other helis. Out of all of my helis (trex 500, 450 and my mini helis sr120 and the msr) I like flying my O550 the most. When I go to the feild the frist one I fly is my O550 always then I fly the 500 and the 450. So I think that Outrage will still surpport parts the g5 and O550. There are to many of us out there with the O550 for them not to surpport them. So I wouldn't worry about it the parts will still be there. You got to think they are still tring to get the F50 out. So they will make parts soon i'm still waiting on a tail shaft so I can finish working on my boy Gordon O550. God is Good
