500 tail servo [Archive]

What Futaba servo can I run on my 500? Is there more than 1 choice? Thanks

You might want a step down for the 9257. The 9254 also plus you will need a full size servo mount for it.
The BLS251 supposedly is rated for 6v now and it also needs a full size mount.

I ran the 9257 when I first built mine and it worked fine. Then I went to a DS520 so I could get rid of the step down. Now I have a BLS251 that will be here Monday I'm going to put on.

I have a 9254 so I need a step down to run this on my heli? Or would a DS 520 work better?

The 9256 works great ,the BLS251 would be best.
