I emailed Rcer the other day and this is what I got;
Dear Alan,

We are so glad to see your mail.
And so apologize to make you inconvenience.

We do many effort to promote and sale Dragonus to many distributor.
But unfortunately, the result is not good as we expect.
Even we sale our product to distributor lower than cost.
But still can not rising the sales quantity.

Now we are cooperate with a big RC car manufacture in Taiwan.
They have a mighty sales channel in US.
We think via this channel. The Dragonus parts will got more easily in US.
But at that time. Maybe Dragonus will become another brand or name.

When all the thing is confirmed. We will release the news online.
Before that if you need parts and only in small quantity.
We will do our best to help you.
Airmail can save shipping rate. About USD5 to US.
But the major problem is it don't have tracking number.
And product may damage during shipping.
It may cause more problem if the package is missing or damage for both of
us.

We are so appreciate you fly with Dragonus for a long time.
Wish you can keep supporting us and introduce to your friend.

Please feel free to let us know if you need any help.

Best Regards,
RCer Service

Subject: No one is stocking the Dragonus anymore!!! Why?!?!

Why are you guys not promoting this Awesome helicopter anymore? The
distributors in the United States are getting away from it and it doesn't
seem like you guys even care. I talked to a representative from Hobby People
and asked about some parts they had in backorder and he told me that they
didn't have any plans to restock Dragonus parts due to lack of intrest in
this heli. I asked if they would reconsider and restock there parts and he
said he would note it but he wouldn't promise anything.
I also found out today that Ark Innovations is also thinking about
discontinuing stocking Dragonus products. Helidirect and Flying Hobby have
already stopped stocking parts so that only leaves you guys to supply parts.

In my opinion this IS VERY BAD BUSINESS!!! How are you guys letting this
happen!? I love this Heli along with ALOT of other hobby enthusiast that are
starting to sell them off. I don't want to but may have to.
Start reading the forums( RCG,Helifreak,Etc.)if you don't believe me. I mean
if you care about your product and your customers and if you don't I guess
we know where we stand with Rcer.
The only thing I need right now to get flying again is a lousy main
shaft(hardened)but can't justify spending all that money in shipping just
for a $5-$6 part. Not only that but you guys have a minimum order of $15. I
was the same awhile back when all I needed was 1 "B link" at $1.95 and have
to spend $15 plus another $15 for shipping.
People love this helicopter but you guys are forcing our hands to look
elsewhere for a different manufacture myself included.
If I don't get a response, I will take it as you REALLY don't care about
your customers and I WILL be selling this awesome flying machine!!! What a
shame!!!

Reguards, Alan Carter

That is so sad, I dont know what to do yet. I cut my teeth with this heli, not only is it unique, awsome adjustable head, & really smooth to fly, it holds a strong sentimental value. Hard to face the fact to move on and replace it.

Mabye its time to take the motor & electronics out and find an ARF to put them in? Blade 400 or a T-rex sure is overstocked at LHS. I can almost vision the Dragonus sitting on a shelf in the garage as show & tell.

Excuse me while i find my kleenex :(

Yeah tell me about it!:bawl I love this heli and it's sad to see this happen. But you know what? By the lack of posts here and the fact that no one ever posts on the Dragonus thread it really doesn't surprise me! Oh well!!!:dontknow:

Yeah, I enjoy this Heli too. I think one of the reasons is because its not very popular, but it does suck when you need parts.
