LOL "Budget Heli Guy"

I know it's not exactly a TRex, but I'd still be careful flying it like that. That tape will put the head severely out of balance.

First of all:

You must be the most ignorant person flying heli's
To fly a heli with duct tape holding the blade is asking for something bad to happend.

Second:

I hope you fly your T-Rex with duct tape also in your living room so that the blades come off right into your PLASMA TV.

To fly these machines (heli's) with broken parts and duct tape is searching for trouble. If you think that it is OK to fly with duct tape holding the blades then make sure you ask your wife to leave the room and that you are all alone in the room this way the only person that could get hurt is the ignorant one flying the Heli... :dontknow

Just my 2 cents

Rick

Geez.

Your wife must not realize that that thing is very capable of taking her eye out or she would be kicking your butt! Luckily one eye is behind a camera.

Try Ducktaping kitchen knifes, I'm sure it works too!

But I guess the sole purpose of your message was to piss us off. You succeeded.

WTF is that guy gonna use a heli mounted shotgun for?????????? Remote bank raiding? Chasing trespassers off his land??? Looks lethal yet pointless to me.
Now the next video down on the Youtube list was far more entertaining (two Japanese girls slugging each other in a wrestling ring - why?).

As for duct taping a heli - well I suppose its his eyes and throat to wound - but he ought not to put his wife (or anyone else in danger) Anyhow, they need to be near the phone, ready to dial 911. I reckon he's just on a wind up......

The shotgun heli is made for the military I believe.

LAMO: why would you invest in something that some kid can disable by walking up beside it and tossing his jacket into it. :dontknow

while we're on the topic of crazy heli videos:

Does anyone have the link to the video of someone hovering his raptor 90 inside his living room?

Skiddz

and WTF is the point of putting a shotgun on a heli? You'd have to hover pretty close to your target get any real damage done. Shooting slugs won't help as that's none too accurate...

I don't get it... :dontknow

I was surprised though, that the recoil didn't throw the heli across the field - not that I've ever fired a shotgun myself to see (I have had a go on an SMG and a small bore (22) rifle years ago).

I think that's just a prototype, like proof of concept. I was watching future weapons on discovery last week. They had a totally autonomous heli (gps and preprogrammed route) with rockets mounted on them. So I don't think you can get close enough to throw a jacket on to that.

Freak! This one is a risk 'slightly' too high even for me....

Come to think about it, it would make a good scene for some weird movie like Hostel or Saw. Yeah, "Saw IV - The raptor".
