Ok, I want in the hobby but I want in for a specific reason, I want to go Air Photo as quick as possible... even if that means years haha. I have some RC exsper but none with Helos.

I am looking for a good starter Electirc helo that is somehwhat sturdy, good to learn on, and has decently cheap parts to fix BUT can be changed into a Still (light camera) Air Photo ship down the road for non pro fun.

I am looking for a book or web link of HOW TO understand the basics of flight and how to get my Hitech Eclipse 7 tranmitter setup properly to fly with Phoenix simulator. When i mean setup, I need to know what each stick is supposed to do for me.

I am slo looking for what I should be doing as a newbie to get started? I am flying blind, pun intended.

My first try at the electirc trainner on phoenix was crazy, the thing is so sensative. Should I be trying with something a bit bigger to make it easier to handle?

And last question... for now, is there a way to make the trainner sim act like it has auto hover "chip" "device" in it like i would fly with a photo ship?

Look in the AP forum, you'll find all the answers there to your q's

1) Get a sim
You are doing the right thing by starting with Phoenix. Flying a heli is *hard* but with time and dedication you will get there. Larger helis are more stable and easier to fly. Make sure you upgrade to the 1.03c version of Phoenix as it has a variety of fixes, including to the hover trainer.

The electric trainer is a good place to start so keep with it while you learn to hover tail in. Take a look at RADDs school of flight too: http://www.dream-models.com/eco/flying-index.html

Download and install the TRex600 model as this is a good, stable, easy to fly heli.

Good starter that can do lightweight AP
Right now IMO the closest match to your specification is a TRex 450 S, SA or SE. Very capable flier, widely used for hobby AP, cheapest parts around. In a couple of months the new TRex500 is expected to be released. This will probably be an even better match. Being slightly larger than the T450 it will be stronger and more stable for AP without moving into the ridiculously expensive batteries needed for the next size and on up. Being an Align TRex the parts will be cheap, probably cheaper than anything else in the 400-430mm blade class.
