gy401 into a R790??

Hi,

Sorry noob question time, the R790 does not have the channels labled on it, just unhelpful names, can someone tell me what channels match what lables?

Channel 1 = throttle
Channel 2 = Aileron
Channel 3 = Elevator
Channel 4 = Rudder/Gyro
Channel 5 = Gear
Channel 6 = AUX 1
Channel 7 = AUX 2

BTW......... I have 3 R790 RX's and they are all labeled...............maybe your label fell off?

Thanks chap, there is a label with throttle, Aileron, etc but not chan 1, 2, 3 etc the cyclic was fine, it was the rudder/gyro I was having a problem with, this is my first heli build so I'm feeling my way, god help me when I get to programming the mix's... :arggg:

It is easy.

BTW plug the 401 gain wire (the single wire connector) into the Gear channel (5). The set the switch up with + setting (I started with 50) and down with - (also 50 to start). Up will be heading hold, down will be rate mode.

Also, with the 9303 when you are in the model select/setup menu make SURE you set the Pitch Control to INH oon the DevSel menu (IIR the terms correctly). This turns off the hover pitch slider which if you don't, will drive you NUTS during setup.
