Iam geting really bad parts support (europe) and again i am grounded/waiting and have to make do ..

probably can get the longer mast and spindle (mfis.net) well have to buy spinde and housing and damper package because no single spindle available,
but might have to hammer the pitch arms to get them to work again I cant find parts in EU and import tax has me worried ordering in the US .
So my QJ8 > its all a bit :arggg: :bomb: ..??
Really depressed every little bump and i am stuck cant get in the air with the qj8 :oops:

but as i said iam in europe and orering overseas gets me Import tax when it arrives ..
In most cases thats realy expensive ...

Hopefully I'll finish mine this weekend.
It's mechanically complete, I just need to mount the electronics, program the ESC and setup some throttle and pitch curves on the TX.
If I get really lucky I might even get to try and fly it Sunday :)

I didnt even know that half of you had posted here lol. Didnt get any emails regarding new posts....
The pics of my heli where of a work in progress, pre maiden.
The pinion does now indeed touch the main gear heh heh :mrgreen:
Finless...Phasing, hmmm, ok I have no idea! lol.
Now I will have to check and do some reading dammit! lol
I have been extremely slack with my QJ. As Ive only just now remounted the servo's, and will begin shortening the spagheti mess of gyro and tail servo wires.
Should be all good to go by tomorrow afternoon.
Fingers crossed and all that.
Ive also gotten off my butt and setup my Mega 16/25/4. IE soldered on connectors, plus have to make some lead extentions between the esc and motor.
I cut the esc wires shorter to suit my 10XL. Oh well, it is just a test anyway.
Hopefully there will be more discussion here about QJ's in general.

CT4 , man , that is an AWSOME paint job on your canopy!! WOW!!!
Here is my EX , I did a modification with the servos so I can run any size motor and pinion I want .. I turned the swashplate around for 2 servos up front and 1 in the rear, that is a Zpower Z20-1500/1470kv , 10 tooth pinion on 6s1p 3300mah 25C.. 2800RPMs of raw power!!

Couple questions..

Can I run lepton blades on a ep8 they are only 5mm longer then stock.

Also would a 6100RX do fine in this bird?
Another Question I will have all 6 volt servos CC60A with external bec am I gone fry my RX or should I just get a 7000?

300 bucks.. Not bad. 234 + 30 for shiping and 30 for duties. Not too bad.

In Korea same kit would have cost me close to 520 bucks.. I save 220 dollars :D
