Dx7 with Ar6000

is the Dx7 compatible with AR6000 ? asking coz I dunt wanna double buy receiver... currently have Dx6 and... planning to go on DX7 but I dont wanna buy receiver again if my AR6000 will work fine with DX7.

any suggestions?

Yes you can use the AR6000 receiver with a DX7 transmitter. I am doing it all the time. You just need to bind the AR6000 to a specific model on the DX7.

Remember, in the DX7 the model is bound to the receiver. This means you can't have multiple models for one heli. I used to do that when I was switching between 3S and 4S battery packs. I had models setup with different curves set for the different number of cells in my battery packs. When I went to the DX7, I could no longer do that.

yes, i am also using this combo of DX-7 transmitter and AR6000 receiver. as stated above, just do the binding process. in fact for the smaller size helis that i have and plan to have, i prefer the smaller AR6000 receiver.
