I am installing all my servos on the X50...the DS610s are driving me nuts!!!! :arggg:
I am using the stock lengths on the linkage arms, but when I put the arm onto the servo at everything mid stick, all i get is constant loud buzzing. I've tried shortening the rods and making them longer with no luck. The servo is at center, it buzzes...when i give it any input left or right, all i get is buzzing...I worked down in the man cave for 4 hours tonight with 0 progress towards this heli...any advice? If I take to servo arm off, buzzing stops...

Thats normal! When the ball links get really loose they will make less noise.
You cant hear it when you are flying ;)

sucks...its very annoying..lol But the head moves FLAWLESSLY! So I don't understand what the problem is...I guess over the first few flights, the links will loosen up a little...I used a ball link sizer tool, but I don't want to take to much off...

This is common with the 610, annoying, but nothing to worry about.
Usually if you stir the sticks a little you can get them to be quiet for a while.

Wait till you go flybarless, you cant shut the buggers up sometimes and you can spend alot of time setting up your heli on the bench with updates, getting corect resolution etc!
Try moving the swash by hand so they are not working to hold position, this can help!

The digital servo's always make noise they are always trying to center. Both my helis and my big planes make plenty of buzzing:roll:

I got analogs on my 450pro..and the micro aligns on my 250SE...I don't ever hear the servos on my 250...Ah I have been overlooking the buzzing during setup today...I'm ready for flight....i hope this weather will get warmer soon...

Yeah, but in all fairness, it's not like Auckland gets THAT cold Al (35 years up there and I never saw it snow once!) ..... even here in CHCH it's still normally flyable all year round, I actually prefer winter as there is less wind!
