A trip to the Bosque del Apache with my 450

Access to the local flying field was blocked. I didn't want to waste a great day a quick road trip later and I was at the Bosque del Apache wildlife refuge. The refuge is one of the winter nesting grounds along the Rio Grande in New Mexico. Most of the birds were at the feeding grounds which is why the ponds are empty.
