Hi guys, putting one together for a guy. but the test flight raised a couple of questions.

on the trex's with 401 and 9650 you run a very short servo horn, assuming the same for the lepton (assumptons.. mother of all FUs).

however test flight showed high gain required an a slow bounce on the stops suggesting short arm. to save me a bit of trial and error what length arm are you using?

the gear ratio is miles out for the axi... according to my calcs on 4s it would give around 3,400rpm headspeed at 100% throttle.

sounds a little on the high side to me. especially for a noob.

tuning buy ear 55% on the jeti spin 44 gave a nice headspeed for hovering but this cant be very efficient and must be heating up the esc and motor.

i have seen a thread on pinions looks like im not the only one thinking this!

nice heli tho...not sure i would pay the money they want for one tho. would be ideal for my job :-(

I've been using servo horn length of 12.5 mm on my 401/9650 setup. Works great with 68mm tail blades. Never tried it with stock blades. I have my rudder end points maxed at 140. Using 4S setup.
