The EVO will just sit there when you lift it off.

you can set it up to be newbie friendly. thats not a problem
Low mobility settings, lead and brass weights = Easy to hover/fly

You have to run up and kick it to get it to move  rock solid
If you can fly a Cp the sceadu will be boring :glasses2:

you might want to practice more w/ the CP before you try something larger.

i heard the small elect. like that are harder to learn than the big ones. i can hover the raptor 90 on the sim but i dont think its that easy for real

That's VERY funny man! lmao
I am trying to decided between this heli, a JR Venture 50, Airskipper 50 or some other 50 (excluding the Raptor).
Are there any upgrades for this heli, like alum head, tail, etc. or are they not really required?
Tommy, you fly it yet?

There are upgrades but not really required.
I like the AL head block (Holds 2 sets of dampners)
AL washout base
AL Radius block
and most of all the Delrin DTDS set (Makes it quiet)

hey fellow flyers, I am considering buying a EVO 50 becaseu my local instructor can set it up with his eyes closed , and handcuffed.
I am concerned about getting parts for the EVO. I tried looking into heliproz.com and other sponsors in this website, but find there is not a lot of parts for this heli. In contrary, many sites have many parts for the raptor. I am thinking twice now...
if anyone knows where there is a reliable and consistent source of EVO parts, pls let me know :)
Thanks All!!!

Try Rick's (www.ronlund.com).
IamSerious,
I have gotten 90% of my parts for the Scedu 50 & EVO 50 for the last 5 yrs from Heliproz (very few parts that they dont have!). To find the part that you need just do a search on the Hirobo part number without the dash, i.e. 0412140 (SD Tail boom 695m)
Also over $100 order, no shipping charges, and parts arrive it 2 days.
Taken together, Parts and shipping are pretty equal between Heliproz and Rick's.
Gus...
