I wanted to pick up some carbon main and tail rotor blades for the Lepton - what do you guys recommend that you have already tried for 3D'ing.
Thanks,
Jeff
I'll be interested in hearing what people are using for mains. I have the mah carbon 425's from rchover.com. For tail blades---the hard plastic 68 mm's work great. On the rchover website it's: S5070 Tail rotor blade, 68 long---search on S5070 if you want to take a look---just white, hard plastic. The 68mm's are essential, but I don't think carbon buys you much except a chipped tail blade now and again. These work great. The mah carbons are nice main blades, but the only ones I've used. mah's in general are very aggressive blades, but you need to be sure to balanced them at any size.

I'm using the mah 425's also. I asked Vic Campbell if they were going to be making a pair of their V2 Blades for the Lepton? The answer was yes, but no release date yet. :D
I'm also using the hard plastic 68mm (white) s5070 tail blades. There about 67mm long now even with the lift kit installed. They work great. I just wish RCHOVER would get some more of them in stock. Their web site shows them back orded for weeks now! I'm reluctant to waste a good pair of CF tail blades since the clearance is so little.

Yes, the 68's that rchover sells are Robbe blades (Jeremy was a long time Robbe reb in his nitro days). They're unique and very good, but hard to get. I'm being patient for them too.

If you put the JR Venture 30 landing gear on your lepton you'll have tons of tail clearance with the lift kit. I wish I had installed them prior to trying to fly without them as my tail blades were torn up pretty badly. Now I find I can't get another pair of 68mm blades most anywhere.
Does anyone know anything about the "viper 70" blades some are using?
