O.M.G HI that is the coolest thing i have seen on a cpp. Hi I am new to heli's .. Well i am a very happy cpp owner 22 batts under belt so far LOL. and 1 servo later still flying if you decide you get bored and feel like psossibly making another shell I would gladley pay you for it ..If not thats cool but you have a nice talent for this kinda thing.. Good Work.. BTW.. using one of your pics as my desktop background :)

That is impressive. I bought the Jet Ranger body for mine, but quickly realized it's not a bolt on. It's obvious you put a ton of work into that thing. Very nice.

Thanks for the comments- I spent about a week working on at night. I picked the fuse from darthdrk.4t.com. He has some really nice bodies that he makes. I thought I would go for a differant look for a while and throw a jet ranger fuse on. I got the paint scheme from a jet ranger I saw on the internet. Really have to becareful not to crash it. Its a little heavy right now- 30 grams heavier than a stock cp pro so I plan on upgrading to a brushless motor for more power.

Wow, that is very nice!! Excellent work.
What are those things holding the rubber bands? I want some.
Keep up the good work!

Those things holding the rubber bands came in the landing gear kit- they are for the battery. The kit came with everything-You can check them out at Helidirect.com. They cost $12.00 bucks for the unassembled kit. Not a bad price.

check it out under helicopter upgrades for the blade cp/honey bee cp2

Great job...too few scale helis out there.....thinking of similar shell for my Rex...
BTW how do you like the CNC head...thinking of one for my CPP...does it fly any better or break less?
Again, nice.

Thats is one pretty helicopter.
Looks like the head is stock but painted. Aluminium swash. Is that right?

Nice lookin heli I made one last winter was a real bit of work :D. The blade has more than enough power to pick it up and fly scale but watch your sudden moves. Also if you still can, stiffen the vertical tail fin up.. Mine was very flexible and became the end of it when it got pulled over to the blades. I dont know how but the tiny shards of plastic and the noise clued me in that it was goint to be a rough landing
Great job

i was just thinking. putting in the battery must be a pain. i'd have to have like 5 batteries to keep me happy. fly charge just wouldn't get it for me. li po's downfall. charge time. i realy do like your heli. i want a airwolf with retracts, but that is down the line though. i gotta learn to fly yet. just won a hirobo shuttle plus off evil bay. i like my cx2 very much.

I cheated and left the bottom split a bit so I could remove and replace batteries at will I then put a small piece of tape at the edge to hold it closed when in flight.. Worked well

Raysun,
Thanks for the compliment on the head. Its not a CNC head- but a stock head that I painted with a stainless steel color to reflect the fullsize heli I was modeling it after.
As far as changing the battery, I don't. I just leave it in the heli- I don't mind waiting for it to charge. I work in a airplane hanger so I bring the heli in and fly on break and at lunch-perfect place besides a school gym to fly. I did modify the charge recepticle by extending it by soldering on some longer wires. So I can charge the battery without taking it out of the heli.

i won't have the battery problem when i'm ready to install a scale body. i'll be flying nitro, so short of maintenance it should never need to come off. i hope anyhow.

That would make a great Kiowa if I could figure out how to put on a MLS system on it.
