Hi all,

I have been looking at the Quick UK head. Looks like they have different mixing options for pitch options. What is the max pitch achievable on this head?

The Kasama head also looks good but I have heard that it can be difficult to order?? Where is the best place to order?

I ordered a Kasama head from Johan at Z-RC (http://z-rc.com) on the 20th January, it arrived on the morning of 25th January, all the way to merry England :)

Johan also marked the customs declaration as 'toy heli parts' at $30 so no duty to pay our Customs & Excise either, total was less than a Quick UK head I can buy off the shelf locally.

I thought the Quick UK head had exactly the same geometry as the stock head so the pitch range is the same. I've just finished a Raptor E550 which has the Kasame head fitted to it and I had to reduce the pitch travel with swash mixing to get down to -9 to +9, I had -13 to +13 easily although you have to remember that the E550 is CCPM.

Interesting ... I wonder what pitch range the OS-Hyper will handle before bogging too much. I was ready to get a different heli till I was told about using a different head to achieve better than +/-10 degrees.

I like the look of the Quick UK and its availability, but I haven't had any confirmation of its achievable pitch range. I might order the Kasama.

Its the same as the stock head. The quick uk swash includes a tapered mast stopper on the top that increases your range a little, or helps stop it from hitting at the low end during cyclic inputs. You dont need much more than 10 or 11, at 11 mine climbs like a home sick angel with Radix blades.

My current setup:
* Stock head (plastic)
* Zigsaw blades
* 1900RPM HS
* +/- 10degs
* TT50pro

I have not been impressed with its performance. I want to purchase a OS-hyper, etc to improve the performance.

I'd go with a metal head, QuickUK is nice but Maverikk is just as good and half the price, red or even better infinivation dampeners and crank the head speed up to 2000 when you get that hyper especially if you run a muscle pipe with it, you'd see a fair bit of difference.

Dam I feel stupid. Just checked my pitch servo - Its a KO from my days of racing onroad. Its a 6V only servo, and I had it on 4.8V
