Miss a day around here and you miss a lot aparantly. Right now I plan on coming down for Saturday. Officially, that's the event date and the 18th and 20th are just come fly if you want days right? I just want to make sure I won't miss anything good if I'm not there the 18th and 20th.

Friday is usually hang out and scare the plankers. Saturday is the event. Sunday is hang out at the other (and more helicopter friendly) field.

Now that the 2.4GHz revolution is underway, how will you limit active pilots? Are there going to be flight stations setup or just count on courtesy?

Flight stations. Initially 3. I was at Mulberry and scared to fly because the boxes were so squeezed together. Plus a hover/setup area for helping newbs.

Huntsville had 9 stations. 8 down the flight line plus hover area. I remember a couple times counting 6 helis in the air at once and they were all doing 3D, sometimes overlapping. It was pretty scary so I stuck to the end or the hover station. :wink:
